The EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL is the oldest private university of business administration in Germany. It is one of the most highly respected business schools and is setting new standards in the field of business education and executive training. For over 30 years, the EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL has emphasized innovation in teaching, research and university management.
Research is one of the three strategic pillars the EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL is built on. The management committee research and the the ebs research center support and coordinate the research activities in our departments, the ebs doctoral program and other research related activities.
As a member of the international scientific community, the EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL is constantly hosting researchers from other universities. During the last years we had the privilege of welcoming distinguished researchers including Prof. Larry Feik, Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh; Prof. Frederick W. Meyer, Duke University; Yakov Amihud, Stern School of Business, New York University; Douglas Cumming, University of Alberta School of Business, Canada and Prof. Albrecht Becker, University of Innsbruck.
The ebs is also a member of the Academic Council of the European Institute of Advanced Management Studies (eiasm) and follows the Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
