I met this girl a week ago at the bus stop. She was really cute. After a few minutes she started talking to me and seemed like she was practically hitting on me. We got into a really nice talk, rode the bus together, laughed and the whole time she kept smiling at me totally flirting. But then, just when I was about to ask her for her number, she casually mentioned she had a boyfriend! I didn't know what to think anymore.I was, and still am, so confused. Do girls like to flirt even if they have a boyfriend?? I mean is that something normal?? I mean is that something normal?
Maybe she was just being friendly but yes even taken girls do flirt just like taken boys sorry that it mislead you.
I know lots of girls who have a bf and still flirt with guys. I think it is very normal. They want to keep their options open. Just like boys flirt with hot girlz even though those boys have girlfriends already. I bet you look handsome to her somehow. :P

The problem is the most guys think a girl is flirting, or that a girl wants me, just because she smiled. A friendly, smiling girl doesnt always mean she wants you.
Ok, a couple of things when she flirted with you, she was sizing you up, and you may have had a chance, if she liked you enough she probably would have either cheated with you, or dumped her guy for you, BUT.....you failed to measure up to her somehow, (don't stress about this, women are really weird when it comes to picking a guy, you could have done or said nothing wrong and all of the sudden she is in rejecting you mode).
It wasn't a friendly smile. I know friendly and that was no friendly. It was flirtin. I flirt too so I know. Plus, SHE'S the one who started talking to me, not me. Although I'm pretty sure I did nothing wrong during our conversation, I also am aware of a girl's sudden change of emotions. In any case, I didn't get her number and nothing happened. that's too bad cause she was a really cute girl.
You should have asked for her number anyway, yeah girls flirt when they have boyfriends when they are engaged and even when they are married.
May be she just wanted an ego boost to see if she could get you if she wanted. Some people like to know they "still got it".
Well it can be a big shock to our male egos but in reality the girl decides if anything will ever proceed beyond flirting even if you are brad pitt or someone like that. You have to totally convince the girl that she wants you. If you don't it aint never gonna happen. The key is charisma. We are either are blessed with it or we have to develop it. Anyway it's a fun game this thing called life :-)
