ZENTRUM FÜR MOLEKULARBIOLOGIE DER PFLANZEN
At the Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP). The Center integrates four departments (Developmental Genetics, General Genetics, Plant Physiology, Plant Biochemistry) with a total of approximately 200 staff members. The successful candidate is expected to establish a competitive research program in plant genetics/molecular biology, to interact with other research groups at the ZMBP and to participate in teaching genetics. English is the working language at the ZMBP, skills in German are required for teaching. The position is limited to six years, salary is paid according to German BAT IIa (approximately 38000 € p. a.).
The Center provides lab space with basic equipment, a technician, core funding for one PhD student (availability pending), a small independent budget and shared equipment funds. The research group will benefit from central service units of the ZMBP (administration, transformation, greenhouse, analytics, microscopy, computer support).
