Postdoctoral Positions (for 3+3 years)
A long-term postdoc position in the group of Prof. Peter Kopietz at the University of Frankfurt (Germany) is immediately available. The postdoc will be hired initially for three years at the level the German public servant salary group A13 (Beamter auf Zeit). For exceptionally qualified candidates an extension for up to six years and the opportunity persue the German "Habilitation" is possible.
I am looking for a person with a strong research background in the field of strongly correlated systems. In particular, previous research experience with renormalization group methods as well as with numerical techniques would be very helpful. The position has also some teaching duties (4 hours per week). The teaching language can be English during the first two years, but a serious effort to learn German is expected.
