At the time, when nepal Government is updating its law faster than german government, I have a suggestion for the HoR. So many tourists love nepal spent heap of money to enjoy the beauty of Himalaya and cultural diversity. We always say 'atithi devo vawa' but at the same time put a board with 'only Hindus allowed' at the entrance of temples. How can we hindus be so unfriendly and creat a kind of border ' No entry' for Non-Hindus? Is it our God who do not want to offer meeting to Non hindus ? Don't we believe that one of the trideva created human being? So how would he shield himself from human ?
Sanatan Dharma, a religion that believes on millions of Gods, is basically believe in pluralism. We guys here in Heidelberg had once discussion on this "pluralism". We figured out that our religion is actually great, it is in this sense more democratic than any other. You have freedom of choice among millions of God. You can believe in Ganesha, in Bishnu, Shiva, Devi or Buddha and still remain a Hindu. Isn't it great ? So why Non Hindus, who want to know Hinduism, are eager to see how shiva looks like inside the golden gate of Pashupati, have to keep themselves away from the place, to which their heart belong ? I do not see Pluralism there. These questions have been roaming in my mind for years. When you visit Pashupati, you see those eager, blind lover Non Hindus at the another side of the Bagmati. For me it is a shame !!

Is it not wise to learn religion and tradition of one another, respect them and live together with complete satisfaction ?
Another bug in our religion is you cannot change to Hindu, you must be born as hindu to be a Hindu. Isn't a religion kind of constitution comprising laws and mostly expressed as a holy story? Where is the PROBLEM when somebody finds it better and wants to practise it ? The city where I live, Heidelberg is a small city, though has two addresses(temples) for Hindus or Hindu Lover. There is a 'Hare Krishna' and a 'Om Sai'. More germans than hindus go there and sing 'Bhajan'. But unfortunately they have to stay outside of Pashupati temple. However I am as a hindu allowed to and have visited many Closters, Churches and Mosque. Well I think these things need a critical update. What do you guys think ?
I think there are many people who think like you. Its really a shame not to let foreigners enter the temple. Something which makes me step out of my own religion.
There is something to be said about a religion that can tolerate other religions....I would think that Buddihism is a good model for this...from what limited knowledge I have of it...
I dont think its going to happen while I'm alive, I'll refuse to join on principle. And I doubt that I'd be alone.
I think it's more likely that religions will fractionate someday, so everybody has their own version of a religion.
