Benefit concert for nepalese children

A concert was organised by "Future for Nepal's Children Organisation, Germany" in Wiesloch, a German city near Frankfurt on 13 July 2008. The concert was organised to raise fund for the social project which is being carried out by this organisation in Nepal. Varoius stalls of nepalese products and books and a classical sitar program by Prof. Dr. Peter Schneider were also other attractions of the program. The concert was performed by "SAP Sinfonie Orchester" and H.E. Dr. Madan Kumar Bhattarai (Ambassador of Nepal) was chaired as chief guest. Speaking at the program Mr. Bhattarai appreciated the work of the organisation and its contribution towards the development of various social projects in Nepal. He also emphasized on the need of organisational help from the people of Germany beside the governmental help for the development of newly born republic Nepal. The program was attended by around 500 nepalis and german well wishers of Nepal.
Future for Nepal's Children Organisation(FUNECH) is working on different projects in Nepal for poor, disabled and orphan children since mid 2004. FUNECH is currently building a children home "Karuna Children Home" in Godavari. The home will provide shelter to about 60 orphans and socially discarded children. It's total cost is app. 525,000 €(NRS. 5,5 Crores) and will be ready to use from summer 2009.
